While researching The Path Divided, I learned more about the ways the Third Reich exploited children and used propaganda to create a national mindset, what we now call groupthink. These photos, obtained at the Library of Congress, highlight some of my findings. Many were once in home photo albums, affording me a personal view of everyday life in this compelling era. My sincere thanks to the wonderful librarians and staff who care for the LOC's archival treasures.
